ROUND ISLAND PARK
On A1A Southern end of Indian River County, this is the last Public Park till you hit Pepper Park in Ft. Pierce. This newly  refurbished ocean-riverfront park offers lifeguards, picnic tables, showers and bathrooms, on the oceanside. There is also a  riverside park that offers a boat ramp and fishing boardwalk along with an  observation tower, picnic areas, bathrooms.
Surfing is not good at this park, there is a deep drop off about 100 feet out and this muffles the waves.
Diving  this area is good the reef is about 100 feet out 15 ft deep nice ledges,  good fish and lobster area. A lot of the Wind Surfing , Sail boaters and small boats are launched at this park it has a wide dune crossing for small light craft on push trailers, no vehicles are allowed on the beaches in indian River or    Ft. Pierce / St. Lucie Counties.
