WABASSO BEACH PARK-  on County Road 510 and A1A, just north of the Disney  Vero Beach Resort. Includes concessions, lifeguards. The huricanes Jeane and Frances Destroyed all covered picnic tables and showers and bathrooms. There is still public access with parking.
Surfers frequent this beach but caution is to be used due the close proximity of the reefs.
Divers should also be cautious on choppy and small wave action days, Calm seas provide for the best underwater visibility. Reef is scattered all over the entire shore line generally 100 feet out to 200 yards off shore.
