Holiday Inn & Ocean Grill, Vero
This Beach is at the Eastern End of Rt.60 there is a large public parking area between the Holiday Inn and the Ocean Grill Restaurant,  This is an unguarded area and there are no facilities.
Surfing  is not great due to the deeper water right in on the beach,  though surfers occasionally are seen in front of the Holiday Inn beach where is starts to get shallower as you go further North to wards Jaycee and the boardwalk beach area.
Divers this is one of the most popular Night Diving sites because there is no curfew here because of the Restaurant. It is not uncommon to look out over the water on a calm night and see many bright glowing spots in the water, there have been many a tourist  or new resident that has called the police thinking that there was some one out there in need of help.  This reef area is part of the Brechnshire Wreck area, there is a reef very close to the beach but it is in 10 to 20 ft depths, as you go out further to the 2nd , 3rd,  reefs it gets shallower 6 to 15 feet, there are some reef sections that are in 20 feet of water but they are so big that you can stand on the top of them and your head sticks out of the water and this is 150 ft. off the beach.  The Reef has a lot of ledges, caverns, and gapping holes and crevices, lots of place for the lobster and fish to hide.  Keep in mind that if there is an wave action that the Visibility is usually zero 0 ft.  Make sure you call Water N Sports at 772-228-9290 for the latest Vis report.
